For 40 years, CCHC has helped ensure all Ottawa residents have access to adequate income, employment, health services, education, food, shelter and transportation. A registered charity founded in 1969, CCHC provides numerous programs and services aimed to improve the health and wellbeing of Ottawa-area communities.
CCHC programs and services help clients develop essential life skills, identify community resources and take control of their physical, emotional and mental health. With programs ranging from diabetes education, cooking groups and confidential HIV testing to prenatal classes, a legal advice clinic and medical drop-ins, CCHC offers something for everyone.
