It’s never too late:
Entraide budgetaire recognizes that there are people who file income tax returns sometimes 10 years late. They have a service that offers volunteer help with these returns, and they want to open the service to low-income, self employed workers. You can help if you’re fluent in French, experienced with software dealing with income tax returns and available a half-day or one evening a week. Call Mara Martin at 613-746-0400 ext. 204.
Do you have a passion for speaking?:
The C3 Centre is organizing a series of professional development workshops and they need speakers and facilitators to make it work. All you need is a message and the communication skills to present it. The centre provides advertising, support, audience, even refreshments.
Your topic could be anything from dealing with the media, business and the workplace, to marketing and communication. Bilingualism would be a definite asset. This venue is accessible to persons with a disability. Or, if WordPress is more your thing, a volunteer is needed to contribute items in WordPress on the C3 Centre website. Call Teresa O’Neill at 613-736-5270 ext. 118.
