Featured Member Event: Cut-a-Thon for Parkinson’s Society

The Cut-A-Thon for Parkinson’s is the highlight of Parkinson’s Awareness Month, offering participants the opportunity to visit an elite salon and receive professional hair care products from JOICO Professional, while raising funds and awareness for Parkinson’s.

Established in 1994, the Cut-A-Thon for Parkinson’s is a recognized, well-organized event that showcases the salons, their talented stylists and the quality JOICO Professional Salon Products, courtesy of Piidea Canada Ltd. We are proud to include only the most prestigious salons for our Cut-A-Thons.

This fun event is entirely driven by volunteers, from the gifted stylists who donate their time and talent each year to the receptionists, shampooers and committee members that help the day run smoothly.Due to the generosity of our participating salons and their talented stylists, all funds raised through Cut-a-Thon for Parkinson’s are put towards research, advocacy, education and support services for Canadians living with Parkinson’s and their caregivers.
