One step at a time: In 2012, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, with your support, is aiming to raise $7.9 million through the TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes. In Ottawa, the TELUS Walk is on June 10th at Queen Juliana Park across from Dow’s Lake. We are looking for day of event volunteers to help on Saturday, June 9th for set-up and Sunday June 10th for various positions. Hockey season never really ends: The 2nd annual Ottawa Power Play for Easter Seals kids, a 4 on 4 ball hockey tournament, will be held on Thursday, June 7. Teams will face off against each other on Sparks Street to win some great prizes and raise money for kids with physical disabilities.
