Volunteers with Disabilities make a difference in our community.

For the last four months our Volunteers with Disabilities team have been very busy volunteering. We would like to share with you some of our highlights.

In April, we did volunteer at Reach Canada’s 27th Annual Minto Run for Reach.  Our volunteers were responsible for giving bags at the registration table and taking bits at the silent action table.

In May we did support The Lung Association at Ottawa Race Weekend by helping at their water station. Our team were giving water and sponges to runners and helped with clean up.

In June our Volunteers with Disabilities team helped Volunteer Ottawa with assembling information packages and staffing them into envelops.

In July we went to Kanata Food Cupboard to help at warehouse with sorting out donated food.
